This is the day the Lord has made
no other shall compare
we will rejoice be glad in it
for God is present here

Jesus commits His resources
in helping those at hand
to do the things which are needful
fulfilling His great plan

by using saints chosen by God
these instruments for hire
His Spirit moves upon their hearts
for good to all transpire

living each day as its given
a child of God relies
upon that which the Lord shall bless
of faith that’s always tried
____
with concert of Spirit and man
doing God’s will each day
accomplishing through little acts
the greater portion’s way
____
orchestrated by God’s own hand
events prepare each soul
by strengthening those character traits
in which He takes control
____
thank God each day the Lord shall give
enables man to grow
into a fuller ripened branch
God’s fruit for all to know
